Who This Job Is For
Ideal Traits
- English speaking ability: The interview is entirely in English, and daily work also requires communicating with international teams
- A proactive learning mindset: HP values proactiveness, and asking questions during the interview is a plus
- Hands-on project experience: Behavioral interviews revolve heavily around team project experience, so prepare with the STAR method
- Curiosity about the tech industry: You need to understand HP's product lines and differentiation, not just say "I want to join a multinational"
- A master's background is preferred: HP clearly prefers master's students, so undergraduates need stronger experience to compensate
Who Might Not Be a Good Fit
- Pure business backgrounds with no technical interest: Most departments are technically oriented, and slots for business management backgrounds are relatively limited
- People who cannot commit to a full year of consistent attendance: A one-year internship requires a long-term commitment of at least 3 days per week
- People unwilling to interview in English: Everything from the resume to the interview is mainly in English
